heya,

does anyone know which fonts are essential for Win7

I would like to delete all the fonts I don't use anyway..
I simply don't understand why apps don't ask if you want to install some extra fonts... they just do it.

I tried disabling them in Win7 but Photoshop still sees them... and I only use PS for all my font needs.

cheers,
mully

Delete the default font from windows isn't a good idea. because most of those fonts are used by many websites as a standard and all the users have those set of fonts. If you try to view a web page or document that requires the default font you wont be able too the content, just only jumbled words.
